Gennoe's Baking Supplies was established in 1987 in the Annapolis Valley area of Nova Scotia. Being in the baking business since 1921, the owners saw the need for a distributor to specifically service the needs of bakers, that was not being fulfilled.

Before Gennoe's Baking Supplies, bakers had to purchase from full-line distributors that were not focused on bakers. Gennoe's closed that gap and created a distribution company focused solely on supplying bakers with the best bakery products available.

To back up those products, Gennoe's created an efficient delivery system to ensure bakers received the products they needed, when they needed them.

In 2003 Gennoe's Baking Supplies had grown substantially and needed larger facilities. This lead to a relocation to the present expanded facilities in Plymouth (Stellarton), Nova Scotia.
